In the 1970s, CKUA Radio regularly broadcast classical music concerts performed at the University of Alberta on a program called University Concert Hall. This playlist contains University Concert Hall broadcasts featuring University of Alberta music faculty. Many of the broadcasts follow a lecture-recital format. From Folio (1975-10-09): "The University Concert Hall is a new radio program consisting of recitals by both staff and students in the Department of Music. It is broadcast Saturday evening at 6:45 p.m. over CKUA. The program is produced by the Department of Radio and Television and the Department of Music with the co-operation of CKUA.
