The service lasted for two and a half hours. They were standing there all the time and the first church that was built in Krydor did not have heating. They would set a fire in the morning and \"your feet are freezing because you stay on a very cold floor.\" After the war, they built another church, which was better. \nAfter the mass in church, they would have a big dinner and somebody else would come visiting. On Easter, they would have ham, cabbage rolls, beet, and radish. \nOlga's mother would take paska (sweet bread), ham, butter, cheese, Easter eggs, and just plain eggs to church for blessing. \nOlga's sister used to do Easter eggs. \nThey celebrated Christmas in January. However, they also celebrated it in December because it was a holiday and children would not go to school.","format":"text/plain","label":{"en":["Synopsis"]}}],"target":"https://ualberta.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1776/collection_resources/58561/file/132584#t=1069.0,1410.0"},{"id":"https://ualberta.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1776/collection_resources/58561/file/132584/index/52493/annotation/40","type":"Annotation","motivation":"supplementing","body":[{"type":"TextualBody","value":"How did you prepare for Easter? \nMaking Easter eggs? \nWho did it?
