She will be graduating with a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta this spring. Tori has had the pleasure of performing in festivals such as Skirtsafire, the Edmonton Fringe Festival, Play the Fool, Nextfest, and The Kaleido Festival. They also have a passion for original new work. Their play, Your Heart is Gushing Lavender, recently premiered as a Mainstage at Nextfest and she has had work featured at Workshop West’s Springboards Festival. She co-founded Dog Bite Theatre Collective and currently serves as Artistic Producer. She recently appeared in Studio Theatre’s The Moors and you can catch her in upcoming Studio shows Tartuffe and Deserters. This is his first time working with the New Works Festival, and his first time directing! He is thrilled to be part of this year’s festival, and is excited to expand as an artist. Credits include: Lloyd Boateng, “One Man, Two Guvnors” (ABBEDAM 2024); Shadow Y, “The Sound of Rain” (Theatre Tahanan 2025); Loki Laufeyson, “Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play” (M.E. LaZerte High School 2024). Brandon enjoys spending his free time practicing the guitar, and playing games. In her spare time, she practices Historical Fencing, creates props and costumes with recycled materials, and rewatches The Lord of the Rings.
