If we believe the legend preserved in the \"Gwerz an Itron Varia\", this chapel dates back to the 13th century. The fountain, with a triangular gable, dated 1801, is located near the bedside of the chapel.The Gwerz tells that, around 1300, a young girl from Trébeurden, whose limbs were deformed, found an abandoned image of the Virgin, and began to pray. Her arms were healed. Struck by this miracle, the inhabitants decided to build a sanctuary for the Virgin. From this date, sick and infirmed went there. Other miracles took place, it is said: the blind regained their sight, the deaf heard, paralysed people walked...
