There is a simple fountain which is essentially a hole in the ground against the north wall. Outside, a staircase leads to the \"pulpit of Saint-Gildas\" from where the saint is said to have preached and harangued the crowds. According to local tradition, the fountain below this natural pulpit, carved into the rock, is said to cure sterility.
