A central rotunda rests on twelve semi-circular arches. Near the Temple du Lanledd , at the foot of a large wall, below the ground and accessible by a few steps, is hidden a lavoir/ washhouse fed by a fountain. This is protected by a gate, but a legend originating in the Breton language tells that through the depths of the fountain one could communicate with the devil. A poor woman, a bit of a witch and mother of many children, no longer able to feed them, made a deal with Lucifer: she would give him one of her children and receive in exchange a large sum in gold coins. The exchange took place on the edge of the fountain. The devil seized the child and put the coins, all burning with hellfire, into the poor woman's hand.
