Via the NEOS Access Services Committee, creative ILS configurations were developed, and solutions found to reduce anxiety for clients. Unusually for libraries during the pandemic, NEOS libraries were able to provide access to physical collections to clients across the consortium, as well as to post-secondary students from beyond NEOS who were living far from their institutions. During the pandemic the committee used the collaborative power of NEOS to minimize their clients’ pandemic stress and maximize consortial value.
