C.; Vernon, B. C., Calgary, Alberta; Three Hills, Alberta; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.\nHis father was born at the same place where he was born. His maternal grandfather had a little country store in the Qu'Appelle Valley. Melville district, Saskatchewan, where his mother was born. Zimmer's wife was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan.\nZimmer's wife is also present and talks about a family history book.\nThe interviewer recorded the conversation when they filled out a questionnaire and repeats the questions.\nZimmer recalls that he went to a country school until grade 8. Then, his parents moved to Grayson. There he went to high school and took his grade 9 and 10. He continued his education at St. Joseph's college in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Then, he studied business administration at the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, and became a registered industrial accountant. After school, he worked as teacher and 'boys keeper', later as traveling salesman for a wholesale grocery.
