Many requests for mediated search support came from graduate students completing their thesis or dissertation work. Increasing demand necessitated prioritization of mediated searching services and the result was creating a consultation model specifically for graduate students requesting mediated search support. The aim was to improve students’ confidence and self-sufficiency with advanced searching with only 2-3 hours of consultation with a librarian.
