The  Just Powers Archive, captures over 150 audio and audio-visual assets created by Dr. Sheena Wilson (principal investigator) and the many collaborating researchers and community thought-leaders from across Canada, who have collaborated to share and co-create the knowledges needed for intersectional and decolonial energy transition and climate action. In this archive you will find video interviews with over 100 changemakers working on energy transition and climate justice; a growing number of episodes from the Just Powers podcast; and even a documentary film created in collaboration with Dr. Angele Alook and Bigstone Cree First Nation called pîkopayin: It Is Broken. The thought-leaders who have generously contributed to this archive come from a range of Indigenous, settler, immigrant and refugee communities; they have expertise in everything from community organizing, to science & engineering, to fine arts and energy humanities, to policy and governance. Housed on UAlberta Libraries as part of the open access Aviary system, the knowledge co-produced on Just Powers as part of university community partnerships is available in perpetuity, open-access, free of charge and can be used by communities, scholars policymakers and anyone interested in learning more about the state of energy transition and climate action here in Canada, or around the world (2017- ongoing). For more information on Just Powers, its many pillar projects, and the research teams and communities, please see <justpowers.ca>.
